     Sergei L. Loiko published the article "Vladimir Putin is spoofed on the Internet," on the Los Angeles Times website. Vladimir Putin and his presidential campaign inspire spoofs on the Internet. His spokesman says that the "dirty attacks do not anger the Russian leader." Uploaded videos feature some of Russia's most famous actors, writers, directors, musicians and other celebrities, all united by the slogan: "Why Am I voting for Putin." As soon as the clips started airing on Russia's heavy controlled major television networks, the Internet empire struck back. Photographs depicting Putin in racy features were posted by people on major Russian websites. Putin had to suffer horrible humiliation. The Kremlin has found it difficult to control the rebellious Internet. 

     Putin is quite aware of the dirty attacks against him but ignores them and does not feel taken aback by them. The campaign manager stated that "this anti-Putin hysteria" actually mobilizes people in the provinces to stand up for Putin and makes his victory easier. In my opinion, Putin should be left alone because after all it is the people's vote that is going to elect him. A big and strong country like Russia should handle elections without any conflicts. Everyone can and should have their own opinion about politicians but after all it is not nice to go against the leaders of your own country. Nothing and nobody is benefitting from internal issues.
