AP English with Mrs. Kirkman

This year, in general, was an amzing experience filled with education provided by Mashelle Kikrman. I loved the way everything was explained and it was actually fun and interesting to learn something new. The novels we read were another great aspect of the class because in my opinion everyone enjoyed reading those novels because they taught us a little bit of everything. Honestly, there was nothing that I disliked about the class because we barely had homework and the classwork we did was simple and easy (this does not mean you should make the class harder!).
My favorite piece of literature we read was The Great Gatsby. This book did not feel like one of the usual boring books you have to read in English class. It was full of historic events which were a major part of the book and it depicted a scenerio of love based merely on material. My least liked piece was probably "Civil Disobedience" because such topics bore me and do not interest me particularly. But after all, every piece has its own meaning and it depends on the person's taste or preference to like or dislike it.
